In the mid 1980's I began classical guitar lessons with acoustics lecturer, recording engineer and concert player John Taylor in London. John was a great inspiration introducing me to reading music and some great classical guitar solo's, many I still play.

Later I spent many years learning from the virtuoso concert guitarist Paul Gregory who guided the building of my right and left hand technique, reading interpretation and communication. He also greatly expanded my library of sheet music and helped my capacity to teach myself to learn from written music scores. Paul has been a huge influence on my music as a player and as a listener. His cd's are available on itunes, recommended!

Recently I was lucky to get a few top up lessons with the brilliant Graham Devine who helped me with some tough advanced music. Especially helpful was advice on nail care that has revolutionised my technique. Cd's also available from itunes, recommended!
